A community built for families
Sherwood Park has a mix of established neighbourhoods, newer subdivisions, and a growing number of condo and townhouse developments. Each moves a little differently, and we plan the crew size around what the street and the building allow.
Streets in the older parts of Sherwood Park tend to have mature trees and narrower driveways, so we check truck access ahead of time rather than discovering a low branch on the day.
Condos and townhouses
Sherwood Park has several mid rise condo buildings where visitor parking and elevator bookings matter as much as the packing. We confirm the elevator window and any certificate of insurance the building asks for before your date is locked in.
Townhouse complexes with shared driveways need a plan for where the truck sits without blocking a neighbour, and a short call to the property manager usually settles it.
Commuting families and Anthony Henday access
A lot of Sherwood Park residents commute into Edmonton along the Anthony Henday and Whitemud, and many of the moves we run are families relocating between Sherwood Park and neighbourhoods on the Edmonton side, such as Mill Woods or Windermere.
Knowing the commute matters when we plan the truck route on move day, since Baseline Road and Wye Road both back up at certain hours.
Winter in Sherwood Park
Between November and March, driveways and front steps in Sherwood Park regularly ice over. We bring mats for the ramp and the entryway, and we keep the truck cab warm on the coldest mornings.
Where Sherwood Park moves go
Most local moves stay inside Sherwood Park or shift to nearby Fort Saskatchewan and St. Albert. We also run regular long-distance loads from Sherwood Park to Calgary, Red Deer, and Fort McMurray, with the same crew loading and unloading.
A smaller share of our week is acreage work just outside Sherwood Park proper, where the streets give way to gravel roads and larger lots within a few minutes of the town centre.
